Wing Lei – A VIP Lunar holiday experience
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. – Oprah Winfrey
Happy Birthday, world! Did you know it’s your birthday today? On this seventh day of the first lunar month, everybody gets to celebrate their birthday. So let’s get to it!
Las Vegas is a happening town. The hustle and bustle come through like a gust of wind in this exciting desert city that never sleeps.
For over the past decade, I have been fortunate enough to take a peak at how the privileged VIPs wine and dine during their stay in Viva Las Vegas. Everything starts from the moment that you check-in.
Let’s start with some pictures during check-in: Beverages, snacks and full of attentiveness begins as you walk through those double doors as a VIP guest in Las Vegas. Then let’s head over to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a limitless cornucopia of delectable food offered at Wing Lei.
Now that you have the room key to your suite and bags have been brought up to your room, figuring out what to do is within the touch of your finger tips.
Let’s highlight one of those experiences at the wonderful Wing Lei located inside of the Wynn Casino. Open daily for dinner. This restaurant also offers a special biannual brunch buffet that is only held during the Christmas week and during the first week of the Lunar celebrations.
Recent renovations have been made to the restaurant since visiting last year. It appears to be more open and bright to allow more light and function to the room.
Complimentary candies while you wait for your table.
An upscale buffet with table linens and frequent plate changes.
The food offering is fresh and delicious. There may not be huge stations as you would find at most AYCE buffets, focusing on an upscale dining experience. Also offered, fresh dim sum carts and freshly cooked dishes made to order.
Soups include: porridge, shark fin, wonton, sweet and sour
Missing lobster and crab claws because they ended up on my plate before I took this picture. 😉
Hope you all have enjoyed each visual bite and if you happen to be in town during the next Lunar celebrations please consider booking a reservation at Wing Lei during your stay. It’s an experience worth taking.
