It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together… and I knew it. – Tom Hanks, Sleepless In Seattle
Date night always gets me excited. Quality time spent with Mr. Hubs is always a special time since we rarely get to enjoy each others company for dinner during the week.
This would be my third third visit to The Village Pub, twice for brunch and tonight the first time for dinner. Sister to my favorite neighborhood bff restaurant Spruce located in San Francisco.
We started out with cocktails and they were fabulous. I believe the Greyhound’s Tooth won an award in NY. A good sign that the rest of the evening will pair out perfectly. The staff was attentive and the food was good. The highlights for the evening included the impeccable service, creative cocktails, fabulous bread and an amazing tomato -burrata salad.
We would have stayed for dessert but was running late for our evening spa appointments. Overall, it was a successful date night.
Notable(s): For the fifth consecutive year, The Village Pub has received one Michelin Star.

This dinner roll was amazingly fluffy and buttery with a touch of sea salt.

This dish was the least satisfying dish of the evening. All the condiments were delicious except for the main start which was the fish.
