Buck’s of Woodside – Big business breakfast

I want to put a ding in the universe. – Steve Jobs
(Ironically, this mega entrepreneur has never stepped foot inside of Buck’s because of a personal fall out with Jamis MacNiven, the owner of Buck’s.)
Buck’s of Woodside is a popular diner that has been built with so much history. The diner itself is filled with a cornucopia of eclectic and interesting items that alone, is worth the visit. The place can feel like a tourist attraction and without judging, there is more than meets the eyes.
What you may not know about this old town diner is that it is also famed for its “Big business breakfast” meetings. This is where investors go. A mega hot-spot where first and second-round funding takes place for startups. Big names like Google, Paypal, Tesla, Yahoo! and more have been spotted at Buck’s!
If you have an idea and you want to be seen, perhaps this is where you should have your morning meetings at. 😉
Otherwise, the food is your average fair with a staff that has been there for an average of 15 years. Filled with stories to listen to and the calm woodsy surroundings will have you wanting to take a afternoon stroll or bike ride around this charming town.

While others make it big at Buck’s of Woodside, you will find me at my favorite brunch spot next door at The Village Pub.
Either way, it’s a win-win so check it out.
Mix fruit juice of the day – Small
Guava jam looks like a good choice
Baby artichokes
A avocado burger will hit the spot
I’ve never had croissants turned into french toast before. I am going to have to test this out at home! It was pretty good.
